Made in Japan in 1977, the Burny FLG-90 was one of Fernandes' first real attempts at recreating a true Gibson Les Paul Standard. With a one-piece mahogany back, near matched two-piece maple top with a nitro/lacquer t'bacco sunburst finish, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.8kg's. With the traditional compact open book headstock design wearing the "Les Paul" insignia and an 18° headstock pitch, Burny really did their research when designing these and this one even comes with a Gibson style headstock repair!

Loaded with the original Alnico V PAF style humbuckers and the original wiring, it's one of the better sounding Japanese LP's from the era and comfortably holds it's own against any high end Greco or Tokai. Looks to be all original as pictured with a Japanese bridge and tailpiece along with the original Grover USA tuners that are still in great shape and working perfectly.
Good overall condition for a 70's build as pictured with the previously mentioned headstock repair. The frets show some wear but were polished and buffed so they're shiny and smooth, the truss adjusts as it should and the neck is straight. The electronics were flushed and work well. The maple top shows some light signs of separation but it's purely in the top rather than the mahogany back so there's no structural issues there.
