Japanese made in the late 1970's, this Navigator branded Les Paul Standard appears to be a custom order model made by ESP with some very nice higher-end specs and build quality. Appears to be a solid one-piece mahogany body with a plain two-piece maple top, mahogany late 50's style medium profile neck with a beautiful striped rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 44mm nut width), it weighs a hefty 4.5kg's.
Loaded with the original Maxon made humbuckers (dating to 1977) along with the original Japanese hardware and full-size Japanese pots. Being a Japanese market custom order this one also features the "Les Paul" insignia on the headstock along with an open-book headstock and all the other Gibson appointments that were used less and less over the years on Japanese guitars.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. Overall it's in good vintage condition as pictured with some honest play-wear and cosmetic bumps/bruises. The frets appear original with the binding nibs still intact, they're shiny and smooth with life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
