Made in Japan in November 1981, the Greco SE-380's are a fantastic example of why Fender employed Fujigen to manufacture their Japanese models. Late 1981 and early 1982 Fender-style models from Greco are among the most desirable due to their similarities in both quality and specifications to the Fender models that began production only months later.
Basswood body with a one-piece maple neck, these were made with a '54 Stratocaster aesthetic with a brown sunburst finish and compact headstock. Single ply pickguard and 3-way toggle with really nice Fujigen single coils in the neck and middle positions (along with a '78 Maxon humbucker in the bridge position), it weighs 3.7kg's.
Plenty of modifications from the previous owner including new knobs, wiring, a Tokai Extra bridge (set to function like a regular Stratocaster bridge) and the aforementioned Maxon humbucker.
Good used condition as pictured, truss was adjusted and frets were polished prior to listing along with a restring. Frets play well with some signs of pitting.
