The maple neck has the Japanese “wide” dot spacing on the fingerboard and the headstock shape corrects the slightly rounder contour on the US models. The shape of the body also corrects the oddball “Fullerton” style found on US models from late 1981, and the neck pocket has the correct routing without the oversized corner routes.
