From the famous Fender Japan SQ series (made alongside the JV series) coming out of the Fujigen factory in the early to mid 1980's, this was an export mode; 70's Reissue Stratocaster sold to the global market.
Faded "Olympic White" finish on an alder body with a full 70's aesthetic including large headstock, bullet truss rod and three-bolt neck plate with a micro-tilt adjuster, it weighs 3.6kg's. Slim C maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width), it'ss loaded with the original SQ series single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector. This one's been upgraded with a Wilkinson tremolo system and previously had a locking nut installed, otherwise it appears to be original.
There's some basic play wear to the frets, it was restrung and given a professional service prior to listing and plays great. Truss works well and the frets were polished, pot was flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned.
