Made by Tokai in Japan in the mid 1980's, this is a Japanese market JK1000 model with a HS pickup configuration. An aftermarket acrylic metallic aqua refinish on a maple body with an aged white banana headstock on a reasonably thick maple neck with an almost V profile along with a lesser seen rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 648mm scale length), weighs 3.7kg's.
Loaded with a genuine Floyd Rose locking tremolo and a pair of aftermarket HS pickups (one rail-style humbucker that appears to be a vintage Seymour Duncan and one unbranded Super Distortion style humbucker) controlled by a master volume knob, kill switch and three-way selector.
Overall it's in very clean condition after the refinish and a professional setup/service. It's had a new Alpha pot installed along with a new toggle switch and has had the wiring cleaned up. The neck is nice and straight and the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life in them and only light playwear.
