Made in Japan for Yamano Gakki in 1991, the Orville LPC-75 was a Japanese built '60's reissue Les Paul Custom made under the instruction of Gibson. Orville models are critically acclaimed as they offer authorised Gibson style and specs coupled with the famous Japanese craftsmanship.

Mahogany body with a maple top, slim 60's mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard (dark enough that it looks ebony), it weighs 4.4kg's. Loaded with a pair of aftermarket humbuckers (unbranded), new pots and a new three-way switch along with the original Japanese hardware and Gotoh tuners.

Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, plays great and sounds very nice. Neck is straight and the truss works well, frets are smooth and have a reasonable amount of life. The finish has a few small chips and fading. The headstock/neck was professionally repaired prior to listing before being buffed and sanded so it's both rock solid and smooth to touch, with a spot refinish you wouldn't know it was there.
