Japanese made in 1980, the LS-100 was one of the "professional" grade models from Tokai that were designed to bring an affordable Gibson style guitar to the global market. Not only did they achieve this goal, but they surpassed it in many ways as these are still considered to be as good as (if not better than) their Gibson counterparts.
With the famous "Love Rock" insignia on the headstock, the LS-100 features a lacquer Brown Sunburst finish on a mahogany body with a solid maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck with an 18 degree pitch angle, a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 44mm nut width), it weighs 4kg's. Loaded with the original factory loaded Dimarzio PAF in the neck position and a Dimarzio DP153 "FRED" in the bridge position along with the original PCB mounted pots and wiring.
A very nice vintage Les Paul, this one's in good used condition as pictured with some general signs of playwear but no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss and the frets are shiny with some playwear and light pitting. The tuners were professionally replaced with a set of Gotoh's and the back control plate was also replaced at some point.
