One of the first "student" models Fender ever produced that has since become a favourite among collectors and players alike, this is a 1962 build Fender USA Musicmaster wearing the classic "Maroon Burst" nitro finish. With a solid body bolted to a maple neck with the smaller 22.5" scale length slab rosewood fingerboard (39mm nut width), it weighs 2.8kg's. Simple both inside and out, this one appears to be all original with a single coil pickup controlled by master volume/tone controls, Kluson Deluxe stamped tuners and a simple three-way bridge under an ashtray cover.
Honest condition for a 60 year old guitar with checking to the nitro and some wear and tear from loving use, no breaks or repairs though. The pickguard is solid with the standard stress cracks at the output jack that have been lightly glued to avoid any more damage, the frets are vintage and have life left and the truss adjusts perfectly. Serviced and set-up with 10-52's prior to listing, includes the original case.
