An incredibly cool and incredibly sparkly guitar made by Eko in Italy during the 1960's, this 1962 Model 500-3V is definitely hard to miss! Inspired by the Fender Jazzmaster, it features an offset body shape with a gold sparkle top and a "mother of toilet seat" back bolted to a reasonably rounded neck and a 21 fret bound rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length with a zero-fret, 43mm nut width), weighs 3.5kg's.
Loaded with the three original vintage voiced single coils controlled by the original accordion style slider buttons along with the original vibrato system that's somewhere between a Bigsby and a Jaguar system that's capable of smooth wobbles without losing too much tuning stability.
Looks to be close to all original as pictured with a fairly recent professional refret done prior to its arrival here. Serviced and given a basic setup prior to listing, it plays nicely with a straight neck and smooth action, the electronics all work as they should and it sounds as vibey as it looks!
