Made in the mid 1960's, this Guild X-50 Cordoba is perfect for both smooth jazz and fuzzed out riffs. I guess you could play other things on it too and it would probably nail them because it's genuinely really cool.

Double bound maple hollowbody construction with two F holes set to a reasonably rounded mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut width, 628mm scale), it weighs 2.7kg's. Seems to be all original including the Guild branded pickguard, tailpiece and knobs along with the original DeArmond single coil pickup that sounds loud and clear.

This one has been well played and well loved over the last 60+ years and shows plenty of signs of cosmetic wear and tear but has no breaks or repairs. It's got that beautifully played in feeling that's impossible to replicate.

The vintage frets were polished and play smoothly and the fretboard was oiled prior to the guitar being strung with 11-48's. The truss works perfectly and the neck is nice and straight. No need for a neck reset and the bridge still has room for adjustment.
