Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1974, the RB800 was a high end 4003 model that comes very close to the original in looks, feel and sound. Neckthrough construction with a select maple body, three-piece maple/walnut neck, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width), it weighs a very reasonable 3.9kg's.
Factory loaded with a pair of Maxon "Wide Range" bass humbuckers controlled by independent volume/tone controls. This model replicates the 4003 so well it even has dual truss rods, stereo outputs and a factory mute system!
Very clean condition for a 70's build with only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. Both truss rods adjust well and the bass has a straight neck with plenty of life in the frets.
