Made in Japan in 1971, the VB-300 one of Greco's earliest Beatle Bass models aimed at being an affordable replica of the Hofner Violin Bass. Hollow construction with a plain top and back, bolt on thick, rounded profile neck with a rosewood fingerboard (30" scale length, 22 frets), it weighs 2.5kg's.
Original Japanese made bass humbuckers give it that rounded pop that you'd expect from this style of bass, they're controlled by on/off switches and independent volume knobs along with a rhythm/solo switch.
Vintage condition as pictured with plenty of signs of wear and tear, given a basic restring prior to listing. It's a very old bass that could use some love to get it looking nice but it's got solid bones and plays well as it sits. Not museum grade by any means but priced accordingly.
