Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1973, the TE-280 was one of Greco's first Telecaster models and is loaded with that un-mistakable vintage twang. Solid body bolted to a slim C profile maple neck with a 21 fret maple fingerboard (628mm scale length, 41mm nut width), it weighs 3.3kg's.
Loaded with the original Maxon single coils with an aftermarket switch, tone knob and tone capacitor.
Faded to a nice vintage white/cream look, it's in decent vintage condition as pictured (with some big Wolverine scratches on the back of the body) and was given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets have plenty of play-wear but are shiny and play smoothly.
