Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1974, this SE-500B is one of those classic old Greco Stratocasters that is a joy to own. Nice heavy body with a rounded maple neck and 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs just under 4kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon Excel single coils controlled by a three-way toggle, it's got some new screws and likely replacement knobs otherwise it appears original.
Good overall vintage condition for it's age with plenty of signs of wear and tear from general use. The frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with an adjustable truss rod. The electronics were flushed and the pots are still slightly scratchy in spots but we wanted to keep them original, contact us for a quote if you'd like some modern pots and wiring installed.
