Made by the Fujigen factory in 1975, the VB-450 was Greco's Beatle Bass model aimed at being an affordable replica of the Hofner Violin Bass. Hollow construction with a plain top and a laminate flame on the back, bolt on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (30" scale length, 40mm nut width, 22 frets), it weighs 2.5kg's.
Maxon made bass humbuckers give it that rounded pop that you'd expect from this style of bass, they're controlled by on/off switches and independent volume knobs along with a rhythm/solo switch. The "Treble" pickup isn't working but the "Bass" pickup is loud and clear, priced accordingly.
Good vintage condition as pictured with only basic light signs of wear and tear, given a basic setup/service prior to listing. Frets are clean and the truss adjusts as it should, neck is straight and plays nicely.
