Made in Japan in 1978, the JB600W was the higher Greco JB model that aimed at replicating Fender's 70's Jazz Bass. Aged white finish on a solid body with a maple neck and bound maple fingerboard (with block inlays), it weighs just over 5 kg's. This one appears all original except for one replacement volume pot and the missing bridge/pickup covers.
Cosmetically this one's in reasonably good condition with a few bumps and dings, the binding along the fretboard has aged and is cracking but still seems to be solid at the moment and isn't overly rough to play. The truss works perfectly and the neck is straight, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left. The original pots are slightly crackly when turned but still function as they should.
