Made in Japan by Yamaki in 1978, this was a higher end construction than most Greco or Ibanez models from the same price bracket. Two piece plain top with a satin nitro/lacquer finish, two piece mahogany back with a medium profile mahogany neck and a bound 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, weighs a reasonable 4.2kg's. Loaded with a pair of vintage Super Distortion style humbuckers, it's got a new nut installed along with a full set of brand new jumbo nickel frets and some aftermarket tuners.
This awesome vintage guitar also features the true "Les Paul" insignia on the headstock that's very uncommon for this era with the threat of legal action whispering from the USA.
Very clean vintage condition as pictured, given a full deep clean and professional setup (including the previously mentioned refret) prior to listing. The truss is straight and the neck plays nicely, there's some light clouding to the finish on the back of the guitar and headstock but no major dings or chips.
