Similar to the model used by Jerry Garcia, the SF500 was Yamaha's budget friendly model Super Flighter with a mahogany/taun body, bolt on mahogany neck and 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length, 13.75" radius). Weighing 4.1kg's, these have a nice slim feel to them (like an SG) while still retaining some of the extra weight and bottom end (that you'd get in a LP).
This one appears to be close to all original as pictured. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing so it plays nicely as it sits. The frets have life left and are shiny with minimal pitting, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should.
