Made in the USA in 1979 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Stratocaster and this is one of approx 10,000 made. Built with an ash body bolted to a C shaped maple neck, it weighs a huge 4.5kg's. "Modern" features including Sperzel tuners on the oversized headstock with a 4-bolt neck plate paired with vintage voiced pickups and a 6-point tremolo system, these were designed to be a celebration of the Stratocaster's history.
Good vintage condition as pictured, restrung and serviced prior to listing. This one appears all original (missing the hard case), the finish is clean with only light wear and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss and plenty of life left in the shiny frets.
