The LC-100 was the flagship LPC from Tokai and was made in their Hamamatsu factory in 1979. Aged nitrocellulose finish on a carved one-piece mahogany body with a one-piece mahogany neck (reasonably slim '59 profile), ebony fretboard with MOP inlays, weighs 3.7kg's. 18 degree headstock pitch with no signs of damage or repair, includes the original pink lined hardcase.
This one seems to be all original except for the knobs and the output jack plate. Aged gold-plated hardware, Kluson "waffle-back" tuners, Gotoh PAF pickups and PCB mounted pots. Full Gibson aesthetic with the open-book headstock and Gibson inlay patterns.
This one has seen some use over the years as pictured but has a very aesthetic natural relic to it from years of quality use. The nitro has checked and worn nicely and has some clouding. Fret edge binding is still in tact and the frets seem original, they're well worn but still play as they sit (contact us about re-fretting options). Truss works well, the neck is straight and smooth with no twisting. Pots were flushed and lubricated and they work smoothly and quietly.
