Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-500 weighs 4.1kg's and is built with an agathis body with a maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width, 12" radius). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune-o-matic bridge, this one has the original G-III humbucker pickups and appears all original.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some of signs of cosmetic wear from use, there's some pretty heavy discolouration/clouding on the clear coat in spots as pictured along with a cosmetic separation along the top that's only very shallow and not a structural issues in the slightest. The truss works as it should but the neck is very slightly twisted, still plays comfortably as it sits though.
