Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-500 weighs 4kg's and is built with an agathis body with a maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width, 12" radius). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune-o-matic bridge, this one has the original G-III humbucker pickups and appears all original except for the missing strap button and a new output jack.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some of signs of cosmetic wear from use. Received a professional setup and service including fretboard oil, fret polish and electronics service, truss works well and the neck is straight, frets are well used but are shiny and play well.
