Made in Japan in the late 1970's, the SR-500 was Yamaha's version of a late 70's CBS style Stratocaster. Features an aged Sunburst finish on an ash body bolted to a slim C profile maple neck with a maple fingerboard and weighs 3.8kg's. Appears to be all original as pictured except for the missing pickup covers and replacement knobs.
Good vintage condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and smooth and play well.
