Made in Japan in 1980, this is a first edition TS-600 model with the original headstock design/logo and 6IL tuners. Neckthrough construction with maple/walnut construction with an ash body. Brass nut, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length) with a nice slim neck profile. Weighs 3.5kg's.
Very cool electronics system, 2 Protomatic III humbuckers with a volume and tone knob and three way pickup toggle. Also features a phase toggle, two coil cut toggles, a boost switch and a volume knob for the booster. Six-position rotary tone control works well and gives plenty of tonal options.
Good vintage condition as pictured with no breaks or repairs, neck is straight and the truss works well. Frets are in good condition with some light signs of wear. Some of the clear coat on the back has peeled off along the walnut.
