Highly regarded in the world of Japanese vintage guitars, the Hard Puncher series from Tokai were a very impressive range of Fender P style basses built to a very high standard. This appears to be a custom order model from 1980 and features a natural finish on a stunning two-piece curly sen ash body bolted to a one-piece maple neck (U profile, 20 frets, 43mm nut width), it weighs 4.4kg's. Looks to be all original as pictured with the exception of maybe a replacement output jack and some new knobs.
