Japanese made in 1980, the SA-1000 was a higher end ES-335 sized model from Yamaha. Bound beech top/back with a maple/spruce centre block, slim C mahogany neck and a bound 22 fret ebony fingerboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length), it weighs a 3.9kg's. Loaded with the original electronics including Yamaha alnico humbuckers and the original Yamaha stamped tuners, it's a very clean example of a great model from Yamaha!
Received a full professional setup prior to listing, plays and sounds great with frets and a straight neck with an adjustable truss. There's some light pitting in the frets but they play smoothly as they sit, plenty of room for a level/crown.
