Built by the ESP factory in Japan in the late 1980's, the JK1000 is a simple shredder for simple guitarists. Glossy red finish (possibly refinished) on a maple body with a banana headstock on the maple neck (22 frets, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.3kg's. Loaded with a top mounted TRS-202 locking tremolo system with a Gotoh zebra humbucker in the bridge position controlled by a master volume knob.
