Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-800 was a made in 1980 and was a short-lived model from the series. Weighs 4kg's and is built with a nato body with a maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune-o-matic bridge, this one has the original humbucking pickups splittable with push/pull tone knobs.
Clean vintage condition with general wear and tear for it's age, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should. The frets have some wear but plenty of life left and it plays nicely as it sits.
