The Aria Pro II RSB-800 was the wide-nut model from one of the best Japanese bass ranges to ever come out of the Matsumoku factory. A series favoured by bass legends including Cliff Burton, Jack Bruce and John Taylor, the RSB-800 was a neckthrough build with an ash body, a smooth maple/walnut transmit neck (and heel-less cutaway) and a rosewood 24 fret fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays. Weighs just over 4.7kg's.
Wide 46mm brass nut with a reasonably slim neck profile, it's loaded with a pair of aftermarket bass humbuckers controlled by concentric volume/tone controls along with both a phase and killswitch mini toggle.
Good used vintage condition as pictured with only a few light bumps and some rusting/patina on the hardware. Given a restring and basic setup/service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and play smoothly.
