Made in Japan in 1981, this was one of the mid-range Springy Sound models made by Tokai. Alder body with a stripped natural stain refinish bolted to a slim '58 profile maple neck (43mm nut width), it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with the original vintage style tuners and two original alnico single coils (coupled with a replacement bridge pickup). There's some new pots, knobs and saddles installed otherwise it appears original.
Received a restring and basic service prior to listing. The neck was refretted at some point recently so the frets have plenty of life left, polished prior to listing and play well, the truss was adjusted and the neck is straight.
