Made in Japan for a short period of time around 1981, the SF7000 the flagship model of the second generation of Super Flighter models and was sold only within Japan. These were expensive and high end Yamaha models when released and spared no expense with the build quality.
Maple top with a mahogany back and sides, mahogany/maple through-neck, 22 fret ebony fingerboard (13.75" radius, 628mm scale length, 43mm nut width), it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with an original Yamaha F-V humbucker in the neck with an aftermarket Dimarzio (unknown model) in the bridge position controlled by volume/tone knobs and push/pull coil splits.
Clean vintage condition with a few bumps and light signs of wear, frets have some light playwear but were polished prior to listing and play well as they sit, the truss was adjusted and the neck is straight.
