The DT100 is a Destroyer series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983. It was made in Japan as part of the X series of pointy guitars.
The DT100 features an Explorer shaped basswood body with a birch top and creme binding bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a single Ibanez V2 humbucking pickup mounted at the bridge in a plastic pickup ring, a synchronized tremolo bridge, rubberized Sure Grip II knobs, Smooth Tuner II machine heads and Dead End strap pins.
Full specs available on the very handy Ibanez Wiki website!
Made in late 1982 for release in their 1983 catalog, this one weighs 3.8kg's. This one has had the original bridge replaced with a Hard Rocker Pro tremolo from a DT200 model along with the pickup swapped out with a Seymour Duncan humbucker. Good vintage condition (especially for a pointy 80's guitar) with only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
