Made in Japan in 1983, the RPB-70 '59 Reissue was a very rare model from Fernandes that replicated the late 50's Fender Precision Bass that introduced the slab rosewood fingerboard. Lightweight alder body with a transparent blonde finish bolted to a maple neck with a wide 44mm nut width, it weighs 3.7kg's. Spiral saddles and reverse-wound tuners give this a real high end look and feel, it appears to be all original except for a replacement tone capacitor.
Restrung and given a full professional service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life.
