Part of the original JV series that's considered by many as the most desirable and collectable Japanese guitars ever produced by Fender, this is an export model '52 Reissue Telecaster that was made to be sold primarily to the UK market.
Vintage natural finish on a sen ash body bolted to a slim C profile one-piece maple neck (21 frets, 43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs just over 3.5kg's. This one had the original pickups replaced with an unknown vintage set at some stage (alnico with cloth wires, very similar to the original ones) along with some CTS pots, aftermarket knobs and an Orange Drop tone capacitor mounted to a new control plate. Full '52 aesthetic with the original ashtray bridge, vintage style tuners and full load out of period correct flathead screws.
Clean overall condition for it's age as pictured with some light signs of basic wear and tear. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
