From the famous Fender Japan JV series of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the early to mid 1980's, this is a very clean example of the Squier branded ST501 model. Olympic White finish on an alder body (with a matching headstock), a U shape maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, 42.5mm nut width, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.5kg's. Seemingly all original with Hod Rod alnico single coils and an End Rox tremolo system.

Lightly used condition as pictured, very clean for a 40+ year old guitar with some light cosmetic bumps and scuffs on the body and some basic play wear to the frets, restrung and given a basic professional service prior to listing. Truss works well and the frets were polished, pots were flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned.
