Teased in 1982 and first appearing in Tokai's 1983 catalog, the FSD70 was a mid-range model from Tokai's Japanese made FSD series of "Random Star" style electric guitars. Solid alder body with a gloss black finish bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 43mm nut width), it weighs 3.3kg's. This one has an aftermarket pair of chrome Gotoh PAF humbuckers and a replacement bone nut/locking unit otherwise it appears original.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing with full deep clean, fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. The frets have plenty of life left and the neck is straight. Light signs of basic cosmetic wear from 40 years of use, no breaks or repairs.
