The Tokai TLS-50 was made in Japan in 1983 and was the base model of the Tokai Love Rock lineup. Mahogany body with a solid maple top wearing a poly Cherry Sunburst finish, medium profile mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.2kg's. This one has some new backplates installed along with what seem to be generic unbranded humbuckers.
Good overall vintage condition as pictured with light signs of playwear on the neck and body, given a professional setup and service prior to listing. Frets have life left and are shiny and smooth with light wear to them, neck is straight and the truss works well. The binding around the fretboard appears to have been repaired at some point, the area is solid and smooth to the touch with no jagged or sharp edges.
