Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-510 was released for the 1983 catalog and wears the incredibly rare "Dark Blue" finish that was made in very limited numbers.
Weighing 3.8kg's, it's built with an agathis body, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width).
Good used condition as pictured for an almost 40 year old guitar, has some bumps and dings as pictured but no breaks or repairs. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish, truss adjustment and restring, frets have plenty of life.
