Japanese made as part of the iconic Fender "JV Series" of guitars that came out of the Fujigen factory in the mid 1980's, the ST72-55 was the brand new non-scalloped version of the famous Ritchie Blackmore model released in the 1984 catalog.
Solid basswood body wearing a stained/faded Olympic White finish bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. Looks to be all original as pictured with Fender branded tuners, full sized pots, a 6-point tremolo system and three-bolt neck plate with micro-tilt system.
Well loved condition as pictured with plenty of wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. Given a full professional setup and serviced prior to listing, the neck is nice and straight with a fully functional truss and the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
