Made in Japan in 1985, the FV-115RR was designed by Fernandes to emulate the exact guitars owned by Randy Rhoads in the early 80's. The Fernandes team apparently visited the USA to take some measurements, allowing them to recreate the exact guitars perfectly. Mahogany body set to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (13.75" radius, 648mm scale length), weighs just 2.9kg's.
Loaded with the original VH-2 humbuckers controlled by two volume controls and a master tone knob, these early RR models feature a string-through hard tail bridge system (rather than a Head Crasher tremolo).
Good overall condition for it's age with basic wear and tear as pictured, received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, frets have plenty of life and the neck is straight. There's a small section of the horn missing along with a small section of the headstock that was reglued, neither of which is an issue and there's no structural damage to be worried about.
