Made in Japan in 1985 and one of Yamaha's rarest gems, the EX-1 was available for around a year and is the epitome of the 1980's. Pearlescent pink metallic finish, these feature a compact maple body bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (42mm nut width, 628mm scale length), weighs 3.2kg's. Looks to be all original with Spinex humbuckers and a Stratocaster tremolo system.
Clean cosmetic condition apart from a few small bumps and dings and a removeable sticker on the back of the body. Received a basic service prior to listing, vintage frets are smooth with life left and the neck is straight with an adjustable truss.
