The September 2010 issue of Guitar World ranked the Mockingbird as "the coolest guitar of all time".
Part of the NJ series, this was a Japanese made beast of a bass that will shake just about any wall you put in front of it. Made in 1986, it features a maple body, maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (860mm scale length), weighs just under 4kg's.
This one's in full punk mode with most of the electronics stripped out and replaced with just a single EMG pickup in the bridge position. Plays nicely as it sits with a straight neck and fully functional truss. Love it as it is or load it with a Varitone, the choice is yours!
