Made by the Fujigen factory as part of the fabled "Fender Japan E Series", this was an Order Made model ST62 that was made specifically to a customer's specs in 1986. Solid alder body with what looks to be a Sonic Blue finish that's faded to something closer to Daphne Blue (with a hint of Seafoam) bolted to a '62 profile maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard (42mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.8kg's. Loaded with a set of Fender US Vintage single coils with Japanese pots and wiring along with the original Fender bridge with stamped saddles and vintage style tuners.
This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.
Good used condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured including light surface scuffs but no major bumps/dings of note. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
