Part of the famous "E Series" of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in 1986 (and refinished by us in 2023), the Fender TL72-55 was made to reproduce the early 70's model Fender Telecaster. Basswood body with a maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.2kg's. Loaded with the original Fender Japan single coil bridge pickup and a NOS Tokai neck pickup along with the original Fender Japan stamped tuners. We had this one professionally refinished in a glossy shell pink in late 2023 using a soft acrylic finish that's closer in feel to nitrocellulose than a thick poly shell.
Reasonably good used condition for it's age, received a professional rebuild and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets have some wear but still have plenty of life left and are shiny. Appears all original other than the previously mentioned neck pickup and refinish.
