Made by the Chushin Gakki factory in 1986, the AX75 is an Axstar series headless solid body from Ibanez.
Headless design with a tailpiece tuning mechanism located on the body behind the bridge, the guitar's design is credited to Mace Bailey, who was the chief designer at Ibanez's US distributor Hoshino USA in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Compact double-cutaway alder body with a carved maple top mated to a bolt on maple neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard, weighs 2.7kg's. Loaded with Ibanez active Lo-Z pickups, controls consist of a master volume, a secondary volume for the middle pickup, a high-boost equalizer and a 3-way pickup toggle.
Overall great condition for it's age. The middle pickup isn't currently functional and there's a set of replacement knobs otherwise it appears all original as pictured. Serviced prior to listing, the frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
