Part of Fender Japan's famous E Series of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the late 1980's, this 1987 ST57-70 was a mid-range '57 reissue that came factory loaded with Fender USA US-Vintage alnico single coils. Alder body with a glossy sunburst finish, maple "oval type" neck with a 7.25" radius, it weighs 3.4kg's. Seems to be all original as pictured with full sized pots, Fender stamped saddles and vintage-style tuners.
Good vintage condition for an 80's build with only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. The finish is clean and there are no breaks or repairs, just a few light dings and scuffs from regular use. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, plenty of life in the frets with some light playwear, features and a nice straight neck with good action.
