Made by the Fujigen factory in 1987 as part of Fender Japan's famous "E Series", this ST57 model is a perfect players-grade guitar full of natural relic from almost 40 years of use.
Basswood body with a brown sunburst finish bolted to a maple neck shaped with the classic '57 slim C neck profile (7.25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.4kg's. Looks to be close to all original under the pickguard with three Fender Japan alnico single coils.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment, there's some light wear to the frets but they still play smooth and the straight neck plays well.
