Made by the Fujigen factory in 1987 as part of Fender Japan's famous "E Series". The ST62-55 was a '62 reissue model featuring a basswood body with a three-tone sunburst finish bolted to a maple neck shaped with the classic slim C neck profile (7.25" radius, 43mm nut, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.4kg's. Looks to be close to all original under the pickguard with three Fender Japan alnico single coils.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard oil and truss adjustment, there's some light wear to the frets but they still play smooth and the straight neck plays well.
