Part of the famous "E Series" of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the mid 1980's, this is a non-catalog model '72 reissue with a factory fitted "reverse headstock" (or just a Lefty neck with a right handed nut).
This one dates to 1987 and is built with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck that's fully scalloped from the 12th fret onwards, it weighs 3.5kg's. It's loaded with the original Fender Japan tuners with a Wilkinson tremolo system and two Dimarzio HS-3's flanking a Fender Japan middle pickup (master volume/control knobs with a dummy tone knob that's not wired).
Well loved over the years but also well cared for with plenty of cosmetic wear but no structural breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets were polished and given a light level as part of a full professional setup and service prior to listing.
